General Conditions of Sale
Article 1 - Length of the stay
The minimum stay is 2 nights.
The client who signs the contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.
Article 2 - Conclusion of the contract
In order to validate your stay, a credit card imprint will be requested at the time of booking.
Article 3 - Cancellations
In case of cancellation more than 14 days before the date of arrival, we will refund the deposit.
In case of cancellation less than one week before the arrival date, the amount of 30% of the stay will be requested.
In case of early departure, the total amount of the stay will be due and invoiced.
In case of force majeure on the part of the owners leading to a cancellation of the stay, the total amount paid will be refunded.
Article 4 - Arrival and departure
For the arrival at Les Hauts de la Riviera, we welcome guests between 5pm and 8pm. In case of late or postponed arrival, please inform us as soon as possible and before 5 pm.
On the day of departure, we ask to leave the room before 11am.
Article 5 - Regulations
Means of payment accepted: Credit cards and cash. Cheques are not accepted.
A deposit of 30% of the total value of the stay will validate the reservation and must be paid by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Amex).
For clients who have booked by telephone or email, the balance of the stay must be paid on site, in cash or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Amex).
Article 6 - Taxes
The rate for the year 2021 is at 1,34 euro per night per person 18 years and older. This tax is included in our price.
Article 7 - Use of the premises
We inform our guests that the rooms and reception areas are non-smoking (including e-cigarettes); we invite them to strictly respect this rule in respect of other visitors. For our smoking guests, the terraces of the suites and room are at their disposal.
The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises. In case of damage, the client agrees to reimburse the costs incurred.
The owners decline all responsibility in case of theft of the guests' personal effects (the rooms are equipped with keys and safes are available).
Access to the swimming pool area is forbidden to unaccompanied minors. Parents must supervise their children who remain under their own responsibility.
Article 8 - Animals
The presence of our cat on the property does not allow us to welcome additional animals.
Article 9 - Capacity
The contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of guests exceeds the number mentioned on the reservation, the owner is entitled to refuse the additional guests. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, and the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains with the owner.
Article 9 bis- Children
Unfortunately, the steep configuration of the premises (stairs, terraces) does not allow us to welcome children under 14 years old.
Article 10 - Insurance
The client is responsible for all damage caused by him/her. The client certifies that he/she is covered by a civil liability insurance policy covering his/her own liability and that of the persons accompanying him/her.
Article 11 - Disputes
It is recommended to contact the Tourism Mediator which will intervene to encourage the amicable settlement of disputes. The Court of Grasse is the only competent court for disputes arising from the execution or interruption of the present contract.
Article 12- Photographs
The photographs and video presented on our booking platform are not contractual. Even if every effort is made to ensure that the photographs, graphic representations and texts reproduced to illustrate our establishment give as accurate an idea as possible of the services offered, variations may occur between the time of booking and the day of consumption of the service.
Article 13- Services
Breakfast is included in the price and is served at the Piazza, on the terraces (on request) or in the dining room from 8.30am to 10am. All guests have access to the guest kitchen from 11am to 9pm to prepare or reheat dishes.
Some services may be subject to an extra charge and may be subject to change without prior notice, for which the guest house is not responsible.
